Platon’un Siyaset Felsefesinin Epistemolojik Temellerinin Oluşmasında Sofistlerin Rolü: Kısa Bir Değerlendirme
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı; Platon’un Devlet adlı eserinde geliştirmiş olduğu siyaset felsefesinin epistemolojik temellerini oluştururken Sofistlerin epistemolojiye dair geliştirdikleri argümanlardan nasıl etkilendiğini açıklamaya çalışmaktır. Bununla birlikte çalışmada; Sofistlerin geliştirmiş oldukları epistemoloji ile siyaset anlayışları arasında kurmuş oldukları ilişkinin diyalektik düzlemde nasıl hem Platon’un geliştirmiş olduğu epistemolojiyi hem de bu epistemolojiden yola çıkarak temellerini attığı siyaset felsefesini etkilediği açıklanmaktadır.

The Role of Sophists in the Formation of the Epistemological Foundations of Plato’s Political Philosophy: A Short Assessment
The main goal of this study is basically to explain how the epistemological foundations of the political philosophy that Plato developed in his work called State were shaped by arguments concerning epistemology put forward by Sophists. Besides, it is also argued in the study that how the relation between epistemology and understanding of politics that Sophists made has an impacts on Plato’s epistemology and his undertanding of political philosophy.
