Hizmet İhracatının Ekonomik Büyüme Üzerindeki Etkisi: Şangay Ülkeleri Örneği

Özellikle haberleşme ve bilişim teknolojisindeki gelişmeler, bir yandan hizmet sektörünün yapısının değişmesine, diğer yandan ulaşım ve haberleşme maliyetlerinin düşmesine yol açarak hizmet ticaretinin artmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Şangay ülkelerinde (Rusya, Çin, Kazakistan, Kırgızistan, Tacikistan, Özbekistan, Hindistan ve Pakistan) hizmet ihracatının ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkisi analiz edilmiştir. Şangay ülkeleri 2017 yılı itibariyle 16,3 trilyon $ milli gelire sahip olarak, yaklaşık 79 trilyon $’lık dünya GSYİH’sinin % 20’sini temsil etmektedir. Söz konusu ülkeler dünya ekonomisinin büyük bir kısmını oluşturduğu için, çalışma bu açıdan önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmada 2000-2015 dönemi itibariyle yıllık veriler kullanılarak, dengeli panel veri analizi yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, hizmet ihracatı ile ekonomik büyüme arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Hizmet ihracatındaki artışlar (azalışlar) ekonomik büyümenin artmasına (azalmasına) neden olmaktadır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar literatürdeki sonuçların büyük çoğunluğuyla uyumludur.

Especially developments in the communication and informatics lead to on the one hand changing the structure of service sector, on the other hand decreasing the costs of transport and communication. So the service trade had increased. In this study, the impact of service exports on economic growth has been analyzed for Shanghai countries (Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India and Pakistan). Shanghai countries which have 16,3 trillion $ as gross domestic product represent almost 20% of the total gross domestic product that is nearly 79 trillion $. This study has an importance, because these countries constitute most of the world economy. The balanced panel data analyse method have been applied by using annual datas for the period of 2000-2015. According to the results of the analyse, there is a positive relationship between service exports and economic growth. An increase (decrease) in the service exports causes the increase (decrease) in the economic growth. The results which was obtained from the paper are consistent with the results of the most of studies in the literature.
