Sosyal Teoride Sosyolojik İmgelem İle Sosyal Sorunları Anlamak Üzerine Bir Çözümleme

Sosyal bilimlerde farklı disiplinlerin yaklaşımlarının dayandığı bilimsel bilgi, sosyal teoriyle özdeştir. Özellikle sosyal teorinin kuruluşunda ve gelişiminde pay sahibi olan birçok önemli tarihsel figür (Comte, Durkheim, Weber, Marx, Simmel gibi) yüzyılımızda da okunmalarını sürdürmekte, onların birikimi üzerinde söylem geliştiren sosyal teori duayenleri ise (Foucault, Beck, Giddens, Fromm, Bourdieu, Bauman gibi) özellikle akademik alanda daha bir sıklıkla gündeme gelmektedirler. Günümüzde sosyal teorinin olanaklarıyla gelişen sosyal disiplinlerin hem geçmişe saygıları hem de günceli yorumlamak ve geleceği öngörmek açısından sosyolojik bir tutum geliştirmeleri için Bauman’ın kavramsallaştırmasıyla sosyolojik aydınlanma/sosyolojik düşünme yöntemiyle kavrayış yeterliliğine sahip olmaları, aynı zamanda sosyal sorunların doğasını anlamalarını sağlar. Bu noktada sosyolojik imgeleme de sahip olmak önemsenmelidir. Sosyal bilimciler, sosyal teoriden beslenen yanıyla sosyolojiyle süren kan bağı ve sırdaşlığının bir zorunluluğu olarak, toplumsal olgular ve sosyal sorunlarla ilgili çıkarsamalarında sosyolojik aydınlanma/sosyolojik düşünme yönteminden yararlanma yoluna gitmektedir. Sosyal bilim dallarının zamanla kendine özgü bir imgeleme sahip olması ise sosyolojik düşünmeye katkı sağlayacak, sosyal teorinin uygulamadan edindiği izlenimlerini de zenginleştirmesine fırsat verecektir. Aşağıda üzerinde çalıştığımız metin, sözünü ettiğimiz bu bağlam üzerine sosyoloji praxisi açısından sosyal teoride sosyal sorunları anlama konusunda sosyolojik imgelemin öneminin altını çizerken, sosyal sorunlarla ilgili sosyolojik tutum almak tartışması etrafında dönmektedir. Çalışmanın, sosyolojik imgeleme sahip olmanın sosyal sorunları anlama/kavrama düzeyine olumlu etkide bulunması açısından yeni tartışmalara katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Scientific knowledge on which the approaches of different disciplines in social sciences are based is identical with social theory. Many important historical figures that have a share in the formation and development of social theory in particular (Comte, Durkheim, Weber, Marx, Simmel etc.) continue to be read in our century; social theory doyens who develop discourse on their accumulation (Foucault, Beck, Giddens, Fromm, Bourdieu, Bauman etc.) more often come to the agenda especially in the academic field. In order for the social disciplines which are developed by the possibilities of social theory to develop a respect for the past and to develop a sociological attitude in terms of interpreting the present and predicting the future, they need to be able to comprehend sociological enlightenment/sociological thinking method with Bauman’s conceptualization and to understand the nature of social problems. At this point, it should be important to have sociological imagery. As a necessity of their relationship with sociology and the fact that they are nourished by social theory, to make inferences about social facts and social problems, social scientists prefer to employ sociological enlightenment/sociological thinking method. The fact that social sciences have a unique imagery over time will contribute to sociological thinking and allow for the enrichment of the impressions of social theory. The text we are working on below underlines the importance of the sociological imagery in understanding the social problems in social theory in terms of the sociological praxis and focuses on the discussion of taking sociological attitudes about social issues. It is expected that this study will contribute to new discussions in terms of the importance of having sociological imagery in understanding social problems and having a positive effect on concept level.
