Sınavlı ve Sınavsız Geçiş ile Meslek Yüksekokullarına Yerleşen Öğrencilerin Başarı Durumlarının İncelenmesi

Meslek yüksekokulları, belirli mesleklere yönelik olarak nitelikli insan gücü yetiştirmeyi amaçlayan yükseköğretim kurumlarıdır. Türkiye’de, mesleki ve teknik ortaöğretim kurumlarından mezun olacakların/olanların istedikleri takdirde, bitirdikleri programın devamı niteliğinde veya buna en yakın programların uygulandığı, öncelikle kendi mesleki ve teknik eğitim bölgesi içinde yer alan veya bölgesi dışındaki meslek yüksekokulları ile açık öğretim ön lisans programlarına sınavsız olarak yerleştirme işlemleri 4702 sayılı Kanun uyarınca yürütülmektedir. Ön lisans programlarına; mesleki ve teknik ortaöğretim kurumları mezunları sınavsız geçiş haklarıyla, diğerleri ise yükseköğretime geçiş sınavı (YGS) ile yerleştirilmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışma ile Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi Yatağan Meslek Yüksekokulu’ndan 2015-2016 yılı eğitim-öğretim döneminde mezun olan öğrencilerin başarı durumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda; Yatağan Meslek Yüksekokulu’na, sınavsız geçiş ile yerleşen öğrenciler ve sınavsız geçiş sistemiyle yerleşen öğrencilerin başarı durumları kıyaslanarak, elde edilen bulgular tartışılmıştır.

Vocational colleges are higher education institutions aimed at raising qualified human power for specific professions. In Turkey, if they want who will graduate/graduated from vocational and technical secondary education institutions, placement procedures to vocational schools and open education associate degree programs,the program they are finished with or the program closest to them and first of all, in the area of the vocational and technical education zone, without examination are carried out in accordance with Law No. 4702. Graduates of vocational and technical secondary education institutions have the right of passing without examination to accept for associate degree programs. But the others are accepted with the transition examination for higher education (YGS). With this study, it was aimed to investigate the success status of the students who were graduated from 2015-2016 academic year from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Yatağan Vocational School. In this direction; the findings obtained by comparing the achievements of the students who settled with the transition without examination and the students who settled with the transition system without examination were discussed and the findings obtained were discussed.
