Turizm Sektörünün Kırılgan Yüzü: Terör

Küresel düzlemde hizmetler sektörü içerisinde yıldızı parlayan üç sektörden biri olan turizm, telekomünikasyon ve enformasyonla birlikte en fazla ekonomik değer yaratan sektördür. Turizm sektörü çevresinde yaşanan (siyasal, sosyal, doğal, ekonomik, terör vb.) gelişmelerden dolayı kırılgan bir yapıya sahiptir. Bu nedenle turizm talebi özellikle savaş, terör gibi durumlardan olumsuz etkilenmektedir. Turizm ve terör ilişkisini ana eksenine oturtan bu nitel çalışmada, sektöre yönelik terör olaylarının Türkiye ekonomisine etkisini ikincil kaynaklardan elde edilen bilgiler yardımıyla analiz edilmiş olup, bu bağlamda Türkiye turizmi üzerinde oluşturduğu etkiler ve önerileri getirilmiştir.

Tourism, which is one of the three sectors that shine in the services sector on a global level; is the sector that creates the most economic value together with telecommunications and information. It has a fragile structure due to the developments (political, social, natural, economic, terror, etc.) in the tourism sector. Therefore, tourism demand is adversely affected by situations such as war and terrorism. In this qualitative study the relationship between tourism and terrorism sat on the main axis, the impact of terrorist acts for the sector to Turkey's economy has been analyzed with the help of information obtained from secondary sources. In this context, the effects on tourism in Turkey and create proposals have been made.
